"As a proud recipient of the 2023 StartUP grant from the Respite Care Association of Wisconsin (RCAW), we are excited to introduce URBAN ANGELS TRAVELING PLAYCARE a groundbreaking service that fosters a win-win social experience for caregivers and their children during special events and community activities. Our tailored offering involves the creation of structured and timed playdates designed to enhance social skills and daily living activities, meticulously curated to provide a progressive learning experience.
Our respite care solution is characterized by its non-medical approach, ensuring a warm and supportive environment. With a dedicated caregiver-to-child ratio of 1:3, we prioritize individualized attention and personalized care. This initiative aims not only to support caregivers but also to nurture the growth and development of children in a fun and engaging setting.
We are grateful for the support from RCAW, and we look forward to positively impacting the lives of caregivers and children alike through our unique respite care experience."
As of the end of 2025 UA has provided nearly 5000 respite hours.

Our LYFE Reloaded series include bully awareness and self-expression tools, uniquely positioned to bring joy, relief, and resources to underserved individuals and families.
DAILY LIVING SKILLS TRAINING STUDIO
LYFE SKILLS LAB -A training series designed to teach essential daily living skills task through hands on activities, modeling and supported practice.
Best for individuals with cognitive, physical and developmental challenges.

FINANCIAL VALUES TRAINING STUDIO
The LYFE W/SENSE" workshop is a tailored financial literacy program for individuals with intellectual disabilities. It focuses on basic money skills, including understanding currency, budgeting, and making transactions. By fostering confidence, independence, and long-term financial inclusion.
Best for those preparing to enter the workforce.
10 hours per month 1-hour sessions (Virtual/Hybrid)

MENTORING BULLY AWARENESS TRAINING STUDIO
LYFE FUSION - A fun, inclusive club based mentoring experience for youth and young adults to build independence, confidence and connections. Best for those needing social connection and guided support.

LYFE PREP STUDIOS! IN PERSON PROGRAMS
CURRICULUM BASED, GUEST SPEAKERS, & MORE
Each month, parents learn simple skills, hear from guest speakers, and complete short assessments while children enjoy supervised play. Families receive respite, child watch, transportation help, take-home tools, raffles, and refreshments from UDV Social Club Inc. The program is also CLTS-friendly, meaning eligible families can use their CLTS funds to cover participation, making it easier to access consistent support and services. EMPOWERMENT & SELF DETERMINATION SUPPORTS
LYFE+CTRL is a monthly program that helps families of children or adults with disabilities learn skills that make everyday life easier. It teaches simple tools, problem solving, and ways to help everyone feel calmer, more confident, and more in control at home. LYFE+CTRL supports the whole family by offering hands-on activities, helpful guidance, and real-life tips that can be used right away. The goal is to help families build routines, make strong choices, work together and feel more confident managing daily life.
20 hours per month 5.0-hour sessions (in person only)
$70 per hour.
FAMILY & UNPAID CAREGIVER SUPPORTS
LYFE+CTRL+ CARE is a monthly program that supports first-time parents of children with disabilities or special needs. It teaches helpful skills, builds confidence, and gives parents a caring place to learn and ask questions. Each session is held in a calm and predictable space to help families feel welcome and less stressed. LYFE+CTRL+CARE helps new parents understand their child's needs, manage daily challenges, and feel more prepared. Through simple lessons, parent tips, and time to talk with other first-time parents, this program makes caregiving easier and less overwhelming. The goal is to help families feel strong, supported, and ready for the journey of parenting a child with high needs.
